December Delights - 3 December 2015
Dec. 3rd, 2015 10:45 pmJust came in from sitting in front of the firepit. I never had much experience with fires, but I'm pretty good at this one. It's no real fun alone, though. TheHubs™ was at play rehearsal and got home just as the last of the embers was starting to fade.
I was also delighted to discover again this excellent animated version of A Christmas Carol. It is said to have derived its 'look' from 1800s engravings by Richard Williams. I remember seeing it as a child and being haunted by poor Marley's ghost, and from the pitiful figures of Ignorance and Want skulking beneath Christmas Present's robe. It's rather short, but I hope you'll enjoy it.
