Way back, several months ago, I wrote a story about Severus Snape and Minerva McGonagall, and mentioned in another posting as my SS/MM fic. One of my friends (and I'm said to say I cannot remember who (getting old) said for a minute, they thought I meant Severus Snape and mimimanderly  .

To get a laugh, I said, "I'll do one of those, too!" I sat down, and the Muse must have been waiting for me, because the story literally flew out of my fingers onto my keyboard as if I was taking dictation. It was an action/adventure story, a love letter to and from our Muses, and a gift to one of my dearest, most cherished friends, Mimimanderly. I called it The Sempra Deck, which was a tarot deck named after another dear friend, sempraseverus. To make a long story short, Mimi enjoyed the story, and confided that she'd always wanted to draw the Major Arcana, and together, we put together this project and together we would post the story as well as the cards.

I also posted the story on Syncophant Hex's Occlumency site, to very good reviews, and the reception here has been wonderful. Thank you to all who read the story, and saw how the arc of the story so uncannily paralleled each successive card, and how the entire Major Arcana is a story of the journey of life, from our first careless steps out into the great big world, to achieving our dreams and becoming a whole, complete individual.

I can't tell you what a joy and a privilege it has been to be part of this project, and how sad I am to type the following lines:
