I am skipping Day 4 for reasons.

mywitch just over a year ago, and I cannot tell you how she has enriched my life, not only through her incredible talent, but through her encouragement and generosity. I have never met anyone quite like her. And beyond all this, she's a nice person. She makes ME want to be a nicer person.
mywitch is a true renaissance artist when it comes to Harry Potter fandom - all pairings, all situations. She can make you laugh like a drain, she can break your heart. Her art is unique and no medium is beyond her ability to conquer. Aside from digital art, she is a brilliant free-hand artist, a wood carver, a stain-glass artist, you name it, she can make art from it! And while she is at home with any HP pairing, she has a special affinity for my own OTP, SSHG, and that makes me very happy.
The first one I'm going to rec from MW has become the stuff of legends. This is what you get when you ask for lots of big cocks. It is truly out of this world. I was privileged to be around her while she was working on this masterpiece, and it was a joy to watch.

Speaking ofsnapebraille4tu, or Brailleypants as Mywitch started calling her - and it stuck! Brailley also became a friend this past year, and I have to say I have a bit of a girly crush on her. She's just so sweet and gorgeous and lovable, you can't help yourself. Or I can't. She is a gifted photographer, and I have been the lucky recipient of several of her beautiful, artistic photos.
I got to finally meet Brailley this past November while road-tripping with MW and Helenarickman, and she very generously made us all light catchers. I absolutely fell in love with it:

A skeleton key from my collection represents our little corner of this fandome being the key to our friendship.
First Strand: You will find a Mermaid Pearl (see art above!); the black beads are Victorian Mourning Beads, for Alan Rickman. The black also represents the black, billowing capes and buttons of our most beloved Severus Snape. The crystal beads are from the same Victorian stash - to celebrate the purity of our love for SS, in his many forms ;) The little key and locket represent our mutual love for our fandom.
Second Strand: This is all about YOU - Your favourite colors - a mix of modern adn vintage beads, representing the times we have shared thus far, and the times yet to come.
Third Strand: All of our favourite colors mixed together - Helenarickman - green and blue, Teddy, teal and red, Mywitch, yellow and yellow/green, Brailleypants, purple and teal You will also notice that this strands ends with a banana, because COME ON. A BANANA! We are all a little bit bananas, which is AWESOME!
It has pride of place on my desk, and every time I look up from my computer, I see it, and it reminds me just how fortunate I am to have these two amazing artists in my life.
