Another Great SS/HG Artist To Love...

Let's face it, my fellow SS/HG shippers, we are so rich (well, all ships are, really) in talented artists, and Erin-Buck is right up there. I swear, if Lay Me Low had a cover drawing, it should be this. The tenderness of this drawing is just solace to me, especially in this most difficult part of the story.

It's incredible how much feeling she provokes just by pen on paper. The expressions on their faces - Snape's almost exhausted and Hermione's sad and plaintive. The fact that she doesn't look like drop dead gorgeous and her shoulders are slightly hunched, make her look so real; and Snape's pose of leaning back on her - as if she's the only one he can relax that much around...it's amazing.
