"I LOVE My Beta" Meme

I don't even know how I managed to string two cohesive sentences together without my beautiful beta, stgulik .  Not only does she actually like my fics, she totally gets me as well. Her suggestions are spot on, and they are always given with love, even when she has to tell me that something isn't working. The thing that makes her so incredible is that, even when she's red-lining my favourite paragraph, or telling me that I need to include something I've forgotten, she does it with such respect and love - not just for me, but for the story itself. I know whatever she says is there to make the story better, and she always does.

Thank you, Jules. You are a gem and a friend, and I honestly don't know what I'd do without you.

Please, when you have a moment, will you take a look at this journal entry? I'm sure you can do something with it...

Teddy, thank you. You have such a talent for writing - it was one of the reasons I gave fan fiction a real try at all. I seem to remember you wrote *very* well before we met! But then I came up with this nefarious plan to beta for you and make you think you can't do without me. Mwah ha ha haaa!

Voxy, you were great when I needed a another set of eyes on IWTO. Please don't feel so down - I saw your other posting, and I know what it's like to feel that way, but remember you are a great friend and so supportive. I am a crap beta, or I'd gladly help. It took me several tries to find someone as stunning as Jules here, but please don't feel bad. As Mimi says, we are all on the great wheel and when we're at the top we can't remember how it felt to be on the bottom, and when we hit bottom, we can't imagine ever getting to the top again. But being the wheel, it will turn for us. I'm hoping it will start the upward journey for you very soon.

I completely understand, I really do. If you need to rant and talk, you know my email address - rant away. I have cried and fretted so many times on LJ, and if it has taught me anything it's that friend here care and want you to feel better. I am glad you are feeling better, but remember I'm just an email away, and if you need a voice, I'll gladly send you my cell. Sometimes it helps just to hear another voice petting you over the phone. Well, it helps me sometimes!
