I woke up to a Winter Wonderland this morning, but my FB friend and former school chum beat me to it. Plus he's an artist and has much better photo skills than I.
These are photos of our beautiful little park which sits in the middle of town. It was built around the artesian which our town is known for. Enjoy!

Friends from the north - I would like to help you understand our southern attraction to snow. Some of my very best memories involve playing in the snow as a child with my dad and mom and brothers. It has always been an extremely exciting time when it snows, because snow in the south is remarkably free of any negative memories. Big southern snows are extremely rare. Rather than evoking the memory of trudging to work or school through the nasty weather, snow to a southern child feels like an extra Christmas.
We still hold on to some of that feeling.
