Come At, Me, Bro !

Y'all know how this works better than me. If you want me to give you the questions, just comment with the words "Come at me, Bro!" and I will give you five. Mine are courtesy of
dickgloucester :
1. What makes you write?
I have always loved to read, and since I have a hugely active imagination, it seemed to be the next best thing. Now, I write because I just love doing it - I love taking the whispered words of my Muse and translating them to paper. I am determined to get my stuff published properly, not just through lulu, one day. This is what I would do for a living, if I could indeed make a living from it. It's like a vocation; I have to do it every day.
2. Tigers or lions? And why?
What a cool question - and a hard one! While I love tigers for their sheer beauty, the lioness is just too cool. She works hard for the money, takes no shit off the male, and is so beautiful and tough. She provides for her babies, keeps her man in line, and seems to get along pretty good with the rest of the harem while the dude is off showing off his bits to the other lions and trying to get more girls.
3. Do you think space exploration is a waste of money? Why/why not?
I think it is, now. Not that I think it is a waste of money, per se, I think it takes money away from things that are needed here on earth. It's rather hard to justify trying to see what's 'out there' when we aren't looking too carefully at what's 'down here'.
4. What is your favourite piece of jewellery?
It's a lovely piece of quartz crystal with seven small cabochons representing the chakras, encased in silver and running down its length. I got it from France, and I always feel good when I wear it. I rarely wear jewelry, but I do love it, especially necklaces and rings. I love semi-precious stones, like turquoise and malachite.
5. What creepy-crawly are you most scared of?
Spiders, without a doubt. Ron and I are copacetic on that one! Here in the South, we have quite a problem with black widows getting in the house, and I am mortally afraid of them and brown recluse spiders. Even our proper British cats leave them alone!

But what happens 'in the name of God' is stupid. And frankly, I believe if there would be absolutely no religion, there would be chaos in the world. I'm not thinking only of the Christian religion, but all of them.
2. I'm a woman of simple tastes (and 3 courses). For starters, I'd have a noodle soup, for main course I'd have to say chicken breasts, rice and beet root, and for dessert something with chocolate and sour cherries. As I said, I have a simple taste.
3. Seeing my family in Croatia. Or reading a good book/fanfiction =) Also, chocolate sometimes helps (I'm a chocoholic)
4. The most peaceful location on earth for me is where my father was born in Croatia. It's a village with about 500 people, and almost everybody know each other. The village has only 2 shops, a church, one pub, school and the graveyard. I go there to visit my grandmother sometimes just to... rest. Rest from the everyday life and stress.
5. Tough question. It would depend on the mood I'm in. Sometimes I like something silly, sometimes something patriotic, and sometimes just something popular. But I always have my fave singer from Croatia on my mp3, Miroslav Skoro. His song Ne vjeruje srce pameti (My heart doesn't trust my mind is the exact translation) is a tearjerker. He sings of himself and the love he left so readily. It's not his bio song, but it is one of his best songs. So, that would be the song I'd keep =)
