How Quiet and Dull The House Now Seems...

mywitch has left for her new adventures on the road. We spent over a week in her sunny presence and it was wonderful. I got to watch her working on her giftfest art, and all I can say it is in a class by itself. She is the best company, and showered both me and TheHubs™ with gifts and laughter and that beautiful smile of hers. She also taught us Farkle, which I fell in love with and actually even won once! We are going to invest in some dice to play here.
I also got to meetsnapebraille4tu, who is the most adorable person ever and I will admit to having a major friend crush on. What an absolute doll. She made the most beautiful dream catcher for all her friends, and it will be treasured for the rest of my days.
We were treated to a day at WWHP, which delivered like you read about. My head is still swimming with the awesomeness of it all. When I try to describe it, words truly fail me, except to say that it was so real I could see the Wizarding folk behind all the curtained buildings, and feel the magic in the air.
I'm sitting here in my special HP smoking hat, waiting for some excellent Lemon Vanilla Pu-erh tea to steep (a souvenir from Savannah, where we spent a couple of very informative and enjoyable days withhelenarickman), and think I'll spend most of the day chilling before I have to get paperwork ready for tomorrow.
I have major voter anxiety, but I've done my civic duty and that's all I can do. I truly hope that things will turn out well for all.
When I have a little more time and energy, I have to show you some of the awesome goodies that resulted from this visit. I am truly rolling in the sexiest swag!!! But right now I'm experiencing a bit of 'friend drop'. How blessed I am that my friends are so awesome that I miss them so terribly when we are parted.
