I am banned

I just got home from a songwriter's guild meeting and went to log into my deviantArt and was told I was banned permanently. Apparently, some of the Marquise art I'd posted was considered kiddie porn!

I am so gutted I'm crying like a baby. I just can't believe all that hard work of putting together and amassing all the lovely pieces of art are gone now. And I'd just bought a 2-year membership, and I think that has been forfeited as well.

I am pig sick. I mean, I feel physically ill.

Caveat, people. If you find art you love, download it. Don't put it on deviantArt. I have lost hundreds of favourites, including a beautiful collection of Sempraseverus. I can start over, but I don't have the heart.

I have written to deviantArt and begged them to reconsider, but it'll just be my luck they'll tell me where to stick it.

So, I guess this will be my new home away from home. I will miss my deviantArt friends so badly, though. Maybe I can get an assumed name....

I only have two regrets - one is that I amassed a beautiful collection of Snape Art that I'll never recover, and two is that I'd just purchased a two -year premium membership which had only been active a month. I notice that they didn't mention that. I guess if they don't reinstate me that will be forfeit, and I think that's wrong, but since I paid for it with paypal, I don't think there's a lot I can do about it.

The positive is that I had this wonderful evening of such an outpouring of friendship and support. I've been sent over 100 messages tonight!
