I am banned

I just got home from a songwriter's guild meeting and went to log into my deviantArt and was told I was banned permanently. Apparently, some of the Marquise art I'd posted was considered kiddie porn!

I am so gutted I'm crying like a baby. I just can't believe all that hard work of putting together and amassing all the lovely pieces of art are gone now. And I'd just bought a 2-year membership, and I think that has been forfeited as well.

I am pig sick. I mean, I feel physically ill.

Caveat, people. If you find art you love, download it. Don't put it on deviantArt. I have lost hundreds of favourites, including a beautiful collection of Sempraseverus. I can start over, but I don't have the heart.

I have written to deviantArt and begged them to reconsider, but it'll just be my luck they'll tell me where to stick it.

So, I guess this will be my new home away from home. I will miss my deviantArt friends so badly, though. Maybe I can get an assumed name....

Thank you, sweetness. You have no idea how I feel to receive all this support and love from my friends here. It doesn't make what dA did all right (I still think they should at least refund my 23 month memebership), but it has taught me some valuable lessons and I'm going to be more careful.

Strangely enough, it will still let me look at my friends' stuff, so I'm on dA crazily downloading all 9 pages of your art. I may be awhile!!

I just feel so stupid...I did the Adult Content warning stuff, and mentioned that the characters were of age. Don't know what else I could do - especially after going to the fetish photos and seeing what passes for acceptable there.

Well, lesson learned. Time to move on. I still have lots of stories in me, and with inspiration from you and others, I will be okay.

Did you read the post that Violet said about your LayMeLow pic? She said something about it being a great example of art and words coming together. I thought that was about the best thing anyone's ever said. I love ya, kiddo. Thank you and the sweet Muse for sticking up for me.
