I'm behind with the Random Snowflake challenge, but I'll catch up. I've spent the day reading, editing podcast dialogue, and playing games with TheHubs™ (card and board games, get your mind out of the gutter - it's only early).
I'm thrilled to bits because we found out today that Teddy & The Bassman podcast is #61 in Stitcher's Top 100 Podcast Movers Poll - our numbers shot up over 13,000 listens this week! I'm totally flabbergasted, not to mention over the moon. If you have contributed to this number, thank you so very much. It means the world to me that people are actually listening. I came across this article from a link in Facebook, and while it had a nostalgic edge to it, there was a bit of smug condescension in the writing as well. LiveJournal may be a 'thing of the past' for many, but aside from the connections I've made and the fandom that took my hand and called me friend, it is my place to log my thoughts and ramblings. That you find them worth reading is the best bonus there is, but unlike the person writing this article, I don't see anything wrong with LiveJournal as a superb means of self-expression and introspection.
