So you're an Andy fan, too, eh? That's one of my all-time favorite episodes. "Do it! Just do it! Go to the store, buy a bottle of pop, go to Thelma Lou's!" That episode ("Man in a Hurry") and "Convicts at Large" (where Barney and Floyd get held hostage by escaped women convicts) are my top two.

The best part about that whole exchange is Andy just nodding sagely, saying, "Yeah, uh huh, yeah..."

My mother and I have these conversations all the time. I think that's why I love that scene so much - it's so inherently small town! ;)

I hope you know how much I value our friendship even beyond this whole fandom business. You're someone who has never made me feel uncomfortable or unwelcome for being who I am and liking and doing what I do and right now, that's something that's become extremely important to me. Especially today for reasons I won't go into here.
