Sockpuppet Needed for the Exchange

Having no flippin' clue what a sockpuppet is, I was informed by the Exchange I would need one. Does anyone have one available, or can show me how to go about getting one?

You dont need one but it makes life easier.

A sock puppet is a false LJ account. You make a new LJ account and give it a odd name like SockIt2ME or SockAroundTheClock, or whatever...

Then you use this sock account to reply to reviews of the gift you created for the exchange.

You can also borrow a friend's sock puppet. In the case of borrowing you all know the password of the sock account. SO you and your friends can share one sock puppet account if you choose.

When reviewing other's work it is OK to use your normal journal. Example, I use my droxy account to review everything. Yes, you can use your own LJ account to review your gift to throw off guessers. =)

I can make a new sock account. We can share it if you want. I think if we get lots of shares on one account it will be hard to tell who is who in the posts and mess with guessing.

Really? Wow, learn something new everyday. I was just going to recommend sewing two buttons on a sock, but I guess sewing two buttons to a fake LJ account will be a bit harder. How do you get a needle to go through a monitor? My monitor is already caked from corrective fluid.
