I will expect photos. Lots and lots of photos! I would love to do something really wacky for October, but I never seem to get to do it! I do got awesomely overboard at Christmas, though, to make up for it.

Right now, with our heat index at 106 (and me in an apartment directly under a black tar roof) that picture looks too good to be true.

And I'm someone that generally loves summer.

I'm not summer's biggest fan, and I have to admit that as summers go, this one hasn't been as brutal as some. Last year was hideous; it didn't help that our old van had no A/C and we pretty much drive for a living. My right arm was four shades darker than my left from having the window down all the time. Thankfully, this year we have a car with A/C, and boy does it make a difference.

Very nice. I'm a bit tired of 95F as a basic average, but it beats 2012 when we had three solid months of 100F+ temps. Looking forward to October as well.
