teddy_radiatorI just saw this photo on my FB feed, and remembered why I love Snape so much. He reminded me so much of Spock, who was my first true love. I was four, and used to pretend that he and I would go on adventures. Star Trek TOS fanfiction was the first fanfic I ever read, and I will love Leonard Nimoy forever. The first in a long line of dark-haired, dark-eyed men who would lead me eventually to my Muse.
In the 80's he did a lecture tour, and I saw him at Clemson University. He walked right by me, but I was too shy to ask for his autograph.
He is very ill right now, but to me he will always be special, and important, and someone who made a difference in my life.

droxy and I have always said that, had he been younger, he would have been the perfect Snape:
