A Big Thank You
Jan. 11th, 2014 04:57 pmStill feeling a little tired and drained, but much better. I think my present tiredness is more to adjusting to the beta blockers more than anything else. I just wanted to say a heartfelt 'thank you' to everyone who took the time to send me such sweet and beautiful words of encouragement at my last post. I'm not quite up to answering everything individually, but I know I will be. I'm doing a little light exercising, and we've been eating very well since January 1, so I know I'm doing everything needed to get back to normal. In the meantime, thank you. Your encouragement, and shared experiences and love are the best medicine in the world.

Date: 2014-01-12 01:24 am (UTC)I'm assuming that you've been warned not to stop them 'cold turkey', as that can cause problems, and if you find yourself having strange, vivid or disturbing dreams more than you usually do, go see your doctor as it's not that common in adults, but some BBs can cross the blood/brain barrier in some people and do this. If it happens, you may need to change BBs.
One of the up sides of being on BBs is that if you happen to also be a migraine sufferer like me (not just bad headaches, but the migraines that give you auras, muscle weakness, vomitting etc) you will most probably find they will help to quite drastically reduce the incidence or severity of them.
Take care my dear, rest, listen to your body and try not to overdo things - a big cyber hug to you and Hubs and know I'm thinking of you.
