SED - 11 October 2013
Oct. 11th, 2013 11:10 pmThis is one of those really difficult weeks at work where it's just physically so tiring I end up in the 'can't think straight' category. To add insult to injury, we didn't finish up and have to go back out tomorrow (Saturday at three Wal-marts. Joy) to finish stuff we didn't get done. Truly exhausting.
I just found out today (apologies because I know this can't be news to many of you) that Adagio Teas allows individuals to blend their own teas. Why didn't I know this? No idea. But now that I do, I'm going to really give it some thought. I'd love to have Muse blend, and some others that might be evocative of certain characters. I know there are HP-based teas out there, but I want to do something a little more specific. We'll see.
I picture Severus Snape as a Lapsang Souchong, all smoky and hard to get to like, but once you develop a taste for it, you love it more than anything else.
I've been loving
minerva_fest, especially the past couple of days' offering - Exotic Matter, written by a brand new author to fanfiction. I can't wait to see what else she plans to write. It's both haunting and cerebral, and more than once my brain broke trying to figure out all the wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey stuff, but it was a very enjoyable story that featured Hermione in a supporting role. The fact that she was now in her late sixties really moved me for some reason.
I think I'd better give up the pretense of doing anything productive and go read in bed a bit before falling asleep.
I'll leave you with this lovely pic from New Hampshire:
