Oh, Holy %$^#!!! I'm Goin' To Con!

Checked in to Delta this morning, so it's finally real. After all this time, it's real - in less than 24 hours, I'll be on a plane to MISTI-Con. I have a two-hour layover in La Guardia, but I have a feeling I'll be in good company - one of my Facebook friends (that I know of) is on the same flight and no doubt many others will be - the flight from La Guardia to Manchester is completely packed. I think it may be a bit of a jolly boys outing on that leg of the trip.

I've got good seats, which for a woman my size is a priority. irishredlass, droxy, be on the lookout for me - my flight Delta 6048 arrives at 12:29. I'll be the wild-haired woman careening down the terminal screaming, "Where are my roomies!!!"

Well, I'll try to be a little more dignified, but I doubt I'll succeed. Somehow, checking in seem to click - even after all the costume making, the packing, the Talk-writing - this was the thing that made me think, "Oh wow, I'm going to Con!"

I don't know when I've ever been this excited or terrified. I don't think moving to London was this thrilling, but please don't tell the Hubs I said that. After all the support he's given me over this, I don't want to hurt his feelings.

See you guys tomorrow - yes, tomorrow! I'm off to do a little final prep. I have to head to the airport at about 3am tomorrow, so today is going to be about rest and trying to make sure said act is together.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Who am I kidding.

Lol. I'm so excited! My layover's at BWI, but there are still tickets available. Maybe I'll see someone? I dunno. I just hope there won't be a problem finding my roomie, as I've never met her before. Can't wait to meet another SC gal!
