Thanks, tudor - I have an extremely high prescrption, so I either look like I'm wearing re-entry shields for the space shuttle, or I have to pay a lot for slimmer lenses!

Once we spent a hour or two wandering around Melbourne's restaurant district looking for a place that had creme brulee on the menu for dessert. :D

I never 'got' the thing over creme brulee, until my best friend Kay made it. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! She makes it for our tea room, and when we advertise it, people fight over them. It's just scrumptious. I totally understand why you'd hunt it down.

Believe me, Mimi darling, I'm not exactly the most interesting person in the world. Moving to England was my great adventure, but I'm back in the same town I grew up in. I have moved here and there throughout my long life, but I always end up back in the same place.

You don't have to be a rolling stone to be fascinating. You are amazing - you have created entire worlds. Who needs to be a nomad when they can have your imagination and creativity and talent?
