Dear Author Saddled With My Prompts....

Please don't be alarmed. I have the most dreadful reputation, but I'm really a pussycat and the idea of being given a gift fic or art fills me with delight. I realise I'm a little high maintenance, but just so you have all the facts available, here's a little ditty I wrote last year about What Teddy Likes In An Exchange Fic. 

I wrote that for last year's Exchange, and for the most part, it all still stands. I have learned to indulge in a little young!Snape slash over the year, but for the exchange I want het romance. It's Severus/Hermione - that's where I want to roam.

With regards to art, I am a huge fan of sempraseverus,perselus, howlingmojo,mimimanderly, tally1302  I also adore hechicera's work. 

In other words, I like realism. I'm sooo not a chibi fan.

And to the person who's prompts I receive, I will pledge this promise: I will try my hardest to honour your prompt in the way you have asked for it. It is my experience that the mods work very hard to match an author to a recipient, so they must have thought I could do justice to your prompts or they wouldn't have chosen me. I will honour their trust by giving you the best gift of which I am capable of writing. Promise.

If I think of anything else, I'll let you know. But don't be frightened. I love gifts.

Anyhow, I was just going to say this post has that flocked padlock on it, but your author might not be on your flist. Something I'll need to edit to change when I do my own of these posts, as my LJ posts flocked as default.

You're not high maintenance at all, silly. Remember, I've seen some of the other Exchange participants' dos and don'ts. :p *shouts to potential writer reading this* SHE'S WONDERFUL AT SQUEE!!

And I still might steal one of your prompts again after the Exchange, depending on what your writer chooses. Unless I end up being the Chosen One, then they're mine, all mine! Mwahaha*coughhackwheeze*

I think of myself as high maintenance because I love my smut and hawt sex and very few writers this year are willing to go there. I don't want to be the recipient no one wants to write for! WAAAAAAAHHH!
