Yep, I'm not really good at writing animals as characters - I did read a fantastic story for Huffle Hugs in which Hermione discovers her animagus form is a cat and Crookshanks really gives her the old Pepe le Peu treatment - it's hilarious. Severus saves the day as a full grown lion - Rowr, indeed...

I am just in the middle of a very intense, angsty part of the story, and you know me and angst - when I write it, I get really emo and so goth I shit bats.

With Droxy being a the Dark Mod and lover of all things angsty, I only meant that with the storyline, Droxys_bitch would be a fitting name for the anguish I'm typing at the mo. I would never do anything to harm your reputation.

It does sort of ruin my plans for showing up at the next con wearing a collar and handing you the leash, though... :(

Please don't let it bother you, Droxy. There is too little human mystery in the world, and too few chances for the ordinary in us to touch it. What you do is the last vestiges of true magic in our world, and can be the source of misunderstanding, confusion, even jealousy on the part of some.

But for us who understand you and what you do and why you do it, their is a marvelous alchemy in your transformations, which most of us can't fathom, much less experience.

The less-than-charitable ones will always be less-than-charitable, because they don't understand and resent, but to those of us who love you, we embrace and enjoy the mystery.

Who cares what they think? At least they are thinking, and that is the first step toward immortality. Sorry to get so loft on yo ass, but I really want you to know how I feel about it - because I think I'm not alone.

Have no fear about the angst... we know it'll be worth it. As for the 3 am writing... I find that some of the best stuff is written on the edge of delirium...

Heck, I've had to re-read it - it's been so long! You see, I already have the epilogue written, so I know where I'm going, but last night DMuse threw me a couple of wild curveballs, so by 3am, I was off the edge of delirium and swimming in the waters of lunacy!

I'm actually re-reading it with a sense of accomplishment, and a thrill that it holds together so well. This latest chapter is just ferociously intense, and jam-packed, and I want it all to work and not feel rushed. Jules has got her work cut out for her, beta-ing it, I can tell you!
