Holy Moley!

Well, they say a friend in need is a friend indeed, and I've learned that in spades today. As you know, last night, deviantArt in their wisdom, decided to ban me permanently because apparently I was promoting inappropriate material. I put one note out, telling whoever was out there that I was gutted that I was no longer allowed to join in any reindeer games.

A friend, Sempra, wrote me back and appeared with cyber tea and chocolate and lots of hugs. Then Mimi dropped by with a cyber bottle of wine. Then others joined me over in my little exiled corner of the world.

Then the formidable Droxy showed up with a busload of friends, all of whom were saying, "We already go to Hogwarts. You can sit in the carriage with us."

I came home to 64 emails, all outpouring support and encouragement and that feeling of belonging that you just can't buy with dA's premium membership (which I still have 23 months of, by the way).

All my sweet and supportive friends from dA immediately rallied around me here, and believe me, I will get to each and every one of you to thank you personally. I just wanted to tell you very quickly here that I am humbled and honoured and have tears in my eyes because I feel like I really belong.

I once had a dream about a week ago that I was dying and that all my friends, Sempra, Mimi, Droxy and all of you were there to say hello and goodbye to me. I think I was having a prophesy instead.

Thank you all. In the words of Minnie Pearl, I'm just so proud to be here.

Thanks babe - this has been the most amazing thing to happen. All these people here are just pouring their encouragement and support and love. I just don't have the words for how amazing the response has been. I'm just humbled. I feel like the kid who got the golden ticket!!

Droxy, I can't thank you enough for what you've done today. You have no idea how much it means to me that you took the time to tell your friends about what happened, and their response to me has been the most heartwarming thing I've ever seen. I just don't have the words to say thank you, but I promise I will pour my love and appreciation into the story I will write for you.
