It might just be me, but I tend to over praise good smut and good comedy because both go horribly wrong so often, that when it is done well it makes me happy. If someone tries a mystery and I figure it out quickly, or they write a sad story and it doesn’t really move me to tears, for example, I can still enjoy the story. But poorly done comedy or smut make me cringe a lot. Long story short, if your sex scenes get mentioned more than your character development or dramatic scenes or whatever, it may not mean the other parts are lesser. I, for one, enjoy many things about your work and am super excited for your new offerings.
