A Thing of Beauty

I am constantly bowled over by the generosity of my talented friends here on LJ. I have been gifted with incredible art, and goodies, and treasures beyond my wildest dreams. Take today - I received a wonderful present from snapebraille4tu. I had been admiring her evocative photography art called Ghost Bride, and this arrived in the post today!

It's on premium quality photograph paper, and sadly, my photography skills are crap, and you can see reflexions of everything in the room, so this doesn't do the photo justice at all. In the flesh, it is just perfect in this frame. I cannot wait to mount it on the wall. Thank you, snapebraille4tu, for being such a thoughtful and caring friend.

In all honesty, I'm not sure where this will go - on the Victrola, methinks. I just hate not to be able to show off all my gifts! It's true, we do live in a little place, but the majority of all our stuff is in this room! LOL

It's such a treasure - and the quality of the paper is first rate. That was the frame I mentioned when we first started talking about it - it wasn't until I got it out of the closet I realised it has a stand on the back. I think it will go on top of the Victrola this week.
