I am banned

I just got home from a songwriter's guild meeting and went to log into my deviantArt and was told I was banned permanently. Apparently, some of the Marquise art I'd posted was considered kiddie porn!

I am so gutted I'm crying like a baby. I just can't believe all that hard work of putting together and amassing all the lovely pieces of art are gone now. And I'd just bought a 2-year membership, and I think that has been forfeited as well.

I am pig sick. I mean, I feel physically ill.

Caveat, people. If you find art you love, download it. Don't put it on deviantArt. I have lost hundreds of favourites, including a beautiful collection of Sempraseverus. I can start over, but I don't have the heart.

I have written to deviantArt and begged them to reconsider, but it'll just be my luck they'll tell me where to stick it.

So, I guess this will be my new home away from home. I will miss my deviantArt friends so badly, though. Maybe I can get an assumed name....

WTF DA??? They just recently did this to Clefchan with a Draco/Hermione pic that has been up for at least 2 years that I know of! WTH! I better contemplate downloading all the stuff I saved over there before they think the picture I posted of my son at a waterfall is considered kiddie porn. Jesus H Christ. I'm rather disgusted, seriously.

Thank you, River. I am at a loss. It's been up almost six months with every Mature Content warning you could put on it. I even had an underage person beg me to drop it so they could see one of them and I refused. The one in question is from LOTM's For Someone Special, and it states very clearly in the novel (and my posting) that Hermione is of age in the story. I guess, as someone mentioned, they forget that even in fiction characters do grow up - I wish dA would. Thanks again for the warm words. I'm just so blown away with everyone's attitude of welcome and support.
