SED - Day 25 - Happy Memorial Day!!

To be honest, all I've done today is spray paint some drapery hardware and move a couple of things into the SteamLib. I've been atrociously lazy, and about the only other thing I've done is unload and load the dishwasher. I wish I could say I was more productive, but I simply haven't been. I plan to make up for it tomorrow. I promise.

Rather creepily, someone just knocked on our door, but when we went to answer, the person was pulling out our driveway and moved on to the next one. I don't like that, and will not answer without my phone in my hand. No stranger knocks on your door at 10:45pm for any good reason.

At that time of night, it's best to risk being rude and alive rather than polite and dead. I never answer the door after dark. The most I will do is open the window down from the door and shout out "Who are you?!" in my most belligerent fashion. Occasionally it is a neighbor, but considering that Wilmington was named "Murder town" by Newsweek, they understand completely and are unfazed. (I must say, in Wilmington's defense, that it is an inner city/drug deal gone wrong sort of problem, which I am unlikely to be in the midst of. Even so, I don't take any chances.)

You don't have to be productive every day! It's good to let yourself relax regularly :)

Nothing wrong with having a relaxing day once in a while. I don't blame your for your cautiousness better safe then sorry.
