SED - Day 15 - The Day of Random
May. 15th, 2015 08:52 pmWell, I finally figured out how to include my novel excerpts the way 1000 different agents want me to sent in a query without losing formatting. It's not ideal, and I had to redo it three times but it is finally done. The biggest problem is that some agents' inboxes won't take the size of the email. Still, I got a few more sent out today.
I have decided I love Jim Phelps' front room, with its corner fireplace, grand piano and nautical accents. But I would want him to go with it. I'm so macking on Mid 60's Mr. Phelps. So tall and grey and, yeah. Then again, I just saw Willie in a chauffeaur's costume. I'm such a sucker for a tall, dark ad hardsome man in uniform.
Gulp and wipe my eyes moment - watching the documentary with TheHubs™ about the making of the new Thunderbirds series, and seeing the original Parker with the new Lady Penelope and Sylvia Anderson, who guest starred as Lady P's Great Aunt - and of course played the original Milady.
Parker: Home, Milady?
Lady Penelope: Home, Parker.
Sylvia Anderson: Yes. Home, Parker.
TheHubs™ and I got quite emotional. We're sappy that way.
I made a really nice blueberry and strawberry cobbler. We served it with vanilla ice cream. It was super duper. I love making this particular dessert. It's so quick and simple.
Facebook continues to be an asshole. Not much more that I can say about that.
We have gotten sweet FA done this week in the house. I dunno. We've been lazy as hell this week, except for helping mom on Wednesday. I am hoping we will get back to work on the floor on Sunday. That's the plan, anyway.
While we were at Mom's TheHubs™ perused my dad's old shed. It's mostly empty now, but he found all sorts of nifty parts that have potential - old springs, bicycle chains, a really cool old train case, a green Army amunition case and some other bits and pieces. He was very pleased with himself as he showed off all his loot.
