...to all my dear friends for taking the time to settle my fears and insecurities. I know you are all crazy busy between work and the holidays, and I really apprecicate you more than I can say.
I've been caught up in fest reading--haven't been scrolling through my flist much at all. If it's any consolation, though, I've been dearly missing your contributions to the sshg giftyness this year!!
Ya gotta keep two things in mind when you start getting all insecure like that:
1. It's not personal. 99.9% of the time, people are oblivious to how you are feeling or how you potentially may feel about something. Everyone is self-absorbed. Including moi.
2. When you're insecure, you tend to jump to conclusions. That is a dangerous thing to do even when you are not feeling insecure. Every person has a different dynamic at work and you can bet that theirs is totally different than yours. The same "cause" may produce a completely different "effect". You just can't predict their behavior based on your own or on how you perceive them to be.

Anyway, glad you're feeling better!
