LOL, yep, this was the one that I originally, had, so I think I'll just stick to it for now - that other one literally wore me out trying to tweak it, so I think I'll just stick with this one for now!
Thank you, dear. Yes, I started out with this one and already I feel better. I don't mind change as long as I'm 100% okay with it, and the other one, while having merit, just had too many strange things wrong with it. I'm going to stick with this for awhile.
Funny thing - I don't really like my livejournal theme much. I chose it when I was in first year of university. Yet, whenever I try change it I end up preferring it to everything else. I can't work out if I'm just a creature of habit or if there really isn't that much variety in LJ styles. After the last attempt I'm thinking the latter!
I was reading through the comments in the morning, and you have apparently changed journal styles since then. I was going "Cat eyes? Where the bloody hell do they see cat eyes? What pink and yellow text? This looks like her old journal style. I must be groggier than I thought!" It was reassuring to read further down that you DID go back to your previous style and that I wasn't hallucinating.
I'm partial to this one, probably because of all the black. I find black very soothing and comforting.
I still have my first journal style, because as soon as I laid eyes on it, I KNEW that it was created for ME! Black? Spiders? HELL, YEAH!
Actually this is old news. I had a layout with two huge yellow cat's eyes staring out of a black background. People freaked out. I'm back to my original page.
