I am this very moment in the computer room, cleaning my bookcases and re-organizing my books on magick and channeling. I have been reading even more books on the subject and also more that focus on how we create our own reality. Some of the books I've come by recently, I've received in rather peculiar ways. For instance, just this past saturday, at a garage sale, I was buying some books on that subject. There were some I passed over as being too similar to others that I was getting. The lady having the sale placed a particular book in with the rest of my stuff and told me I could have it for free. I read that one first of that lot, and it turned out that it was the most meaningful to me. I mean, this is all stuff that I know, but I find that sometimes it doesn't really sink in until you've read dozens of different sources telling you the same thing. The author of this particular book somehow resonated with me more than most.

Anyway, that's what I've been doing lately: being a book geek!

Very nice musings! Such fun to hear stories of your birth and growth as a fan and a writer. Your description of Snape is right on: "delightfully ambiguous, ferociously complex, and totally undervalued by JK Rowling" -- so true :D And I like the quote you cite from duniazade

"I finished the first draft of my original novel the previous summer..." When you get ready to submit it let me know. I might know a good publisher ;)

Oh, thank you! I had also just found out that a UK publisher had accepted one of my short stories for an Erotic Anthology. I had submitted it on a whim the last day they were accepting, and it got through, so I was thrilled. I just sent off my signed contracts today. Hopefully it will be well-received.

I'm finishing up on the Novel. When I do, I will definitely let you know! :)
