Oct. 20th, 2013 10:01 pmBeen a nice day today. I have not felt queasy at all today. Yay. We had a nice breakfast today, and I made an awesome fish pie. I had a bunch of this-n-that ingredients, so it's hardly haute cuisine, but it tasted wonderful.
Three tilapia fillets, cut into small pieces, can of cream of mushroom soup, cup of sour cream, one Land O Lakes Lemon Pepper butter saute cube, a handful of frozen edamame and a bit of all purpose seasoning. I used one of those double-roll pastry disks (I know, my purist friends, I should make my own but I had these and wanted to use them up), brushed with milk on top. Baked in a cast iron skillet for approximately 55 minutes on 425F, on until crust is brown and internal temp is 160F. I let it sit for about 15 minutes and it was awesome.
Got a good bit done on the Promptfest fic today, and what I did get done I'm happy with. TheHubs(r) got a great review in the local paper for his play Freud's Last Session.
Other than that, it's been nice and cool, which I am loving. I'm heading back to the promptfest fic; it's calling my name.
Thought I'd leave you with this little trip down memory lane:
