SSHG Exchange - Thanks For The Memories

As we seem to close one door on SSHG Fandom and open another one with the new Prompfest community, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for participating in this wondrous festival of art, crafts and fics. It was truly eye-opening at times.

I was touched and shocked at the wonderful reception for my gift to odogoddess: Severus and Hermione: A Love Letter. I received the most astonishing comment from Odo herself, which touched me so greatly. Thank you all for your kind and encouraging comments about it. I was really worried over it - thanks to you all for being so nice about it.

I was gifted with an intense fic called The Things That Lead To This, by alwaysimploding. Thank you so much, always!

I am also thrilled with the new sshg_promptfest community, which opens for prompting on March 10. I don't know what I'll have time to do, but I really, really want to do something.

Thanks also to the mods for all their hard work. I can't imagine it was anything like easy, but you did an incredible job.

I love my ship. I love Severus and Hermione as a couple, a pairing, a relationship. I love them as friends, colleagues, lovers, spouses, parents and silver sexxors. I think this ship has produced some of the best fiction writing I've ever had the privilege to read. The artists that love this ship have given us images that only serve to cement my adoration for the pairing. Our crafters are among the cleverest, most talented in the world.

Long may it continue.
