There are so many awesome fests going on right now, but please don't forget the most stress-free fest of them all, hp_halloween. It is a 200 max drabble fest, and the most fun fest I've ever participated in.  This will be my third year (I think a record for me) and it's been so much fun in the past I can't wait to do it again. Signing up is a breeze, and who can't write 200 words??

Also, the awesome severus_fest is still claiming prompts right now, and there are some delicious prompts out there. I found one I just can't wait to work on, and it is also a very low-stress, laid-back fest.

Please give these awesome fests a go - they may be just the thing to blow out the last of the summer heat and give us something to get excited over for the upcoming months.

Also (I promise this is the last pimp!), the hpfanficfanpoll awards are ramping up, and Severus/Hermione have their own categories this year. If a fic really moved you (and was written during this year), please nominate it. I don't know what has been nominated so far, but let's please show our appreciation of the good ship SSHG in these awards.
