TheHubs™ was craving a full English, so we got all the gubbings for it yesterday, and this morning we made it. We're getting so forgetful; no mushrooms, no tomatoes and no fried bread, but the rest was pretty good.
The only negative was the sausages he chose. They had a good pedigree, Johnsonville's, but we didn't realise until we cut into them that they had this melting white cheese stuff injected in them. I couldn't eat it; it looked like( Cut For the Easily Food Squicked )
I passed them on to TheHubs™, who finds little offputting.
Other than that, the bacon was too thin; I mean, people, why bother to sell it so tissue-paper thin it just comes apart the moment you separate it?
In other news, I was saddened to read that Maya Angelou passed today. She was such an inspiration, a Muse and a creative force for good in the world.
