Spring Catharsis

With the girls arriving in just over 4 weeks, we're really pulling out all the stops to make the house and hearth feel like A Really Nice Place. We went to the dump today with about 20 bags of garbage, backseat full of cardboard, two dead printers (we go through printers like sailors on shore leave), a broken office chair, and mountains of paper.

It is a glorious, spring-like day here in SC - temp is 69, not a cloud in the sky, the sun like a big gold coin blazing away up there. We still have some things to do, mostly tidying up, but it just feels good to get rid of stuff that's been sitting around forever, taking up space and doing nothing else whatsoever.
