I will tell you right now that aurette 's Yea Though I Walk, is a fantastic story, and it's just killing me. Whew. If you haven't read it yet, please go to The Petulant Poetess and read this Masterpiece. I'm so overwhelmed I can't even cry. It is not easy reading, but Aurette's angst is insanely good. I mean, twist-you-in-a-knot-and-squeeze-until-there's-nothing-left good. Dayum. Read. This. Story.

I know how many chapters there are. And, since I'm the one that gave her the prompts, I know where it's going, though not the actual details. All that angst, horror, stuff? *ducks and hids* Yeah, some of my prompts. Actually, what's really fantastic is, I gave her three huge prompts to choose from... and she incorporated them all. She is amazing. I love her Hermione, especially.

She's a marvel, alright. Definitely one of the absolute best in fandom, in any ship, IMHO. Sometimes, when I read her stuff, I want to chop my typing fingers off. Then I go and try harder!

That she is. But, I strongly encourage you not to slice off your fingers. You are both equally talented, trust me. You both have your strengths and weaknesses... every writer does. If you grow as a writer, more power to you, but you are your own entity, and your take on the good ship SS/HG is unique and powerful. I love you both equally. ;)

That is so kind of you. I feel a little less like finding the cigar cutter every day, and it's mostly because of friends like you, encouraging me to go for it and reach for my absolute best.

I wrote 1000 words of my original fic project with Sempra today, and that has me excited too. But you know, I just love writing fanfic - it's my great little guilty pleasure. I'd give anything to be able to write for a living (hence the original fic attempt), but writing SS/HG is just like eating Godiva chocolate to me.

it is an amazing story, I adore her writing abilities...this story really is a masterpiece and I can`t wait to see how it ends. Although I also fear how it ends...because I´m a sucker for happy endings and normally don`t read any "angst" stories. Therefore I would be a masochist, too. This story got me hooked ...
