I have to say Happy, Happy Birthday to The Hubs today, June 21. He is a great husband, father, musician, actor and friend. He encourages me, indulges me, believes in me, takes care of me and I know of no one who has met him who didn't like him. Teddy's a lucky girl.

It's Winter Solstice here, and, quite fittingly, we've just had our first snow! I was out with the kids, catching it on my tongue, big kid I am!

Thank you! To tell the truth, it's been so stiflingly hot we went out earlier in the day and came home and chilled. It's just brutal out today, but we've promised one another a lovely meal at our favourite steakhouse tonight!

Oh, snow.... it's so hot here you can barely breathe... our telly blew last night, so I guess that will be our birthday gift to one another.

He has one more weekend of the play, and I think he will be a little down afterwards...He's had a wonderful time.

Oh, I did! He had chocolate, a new music magazine and a new jigsaw puzzle - whoo hoo! We know how to live the glamourous life.

It's too phuking hot to spank anyone today - we went to a book shop and nearly died of heat exhaustion. I'm ready for fall!
