I can definitely see that. I've read him both ways, though some of the more popular slash pairings aren't my faves, though there is almost always an exception to every instance.
I do like to read him in different het relationships (I've written him in a few, and drabbled a couple), though he and Hermione are my faves, even if I haven't written them much in forever and haven't read much lately. I just can't see to find the energy to wade through stuff to see what I want to read. Heh.
