All Good Stuff

I'm so thrilled - three of my five
sshg_promptfest prompts have been struckthrough - thank you, intrepid writers/artists. I cannot wait to see what you come up with. If you haven't claimed, run on over there - there are some beautiful, cuddly prompts just waiting for you to give them a forever home.
And regarding the prompt claiming, my first and third choices have been struck off, which leads me to believe I got my first, because if I didn't, my second would have been struck through as well - erm, or something like that.
Yay for cooler weather! 74 degrees. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....
Last week TheHubs(r) and I went second-hand furniture shopping, and we got the find of the decade - a padded doctor's examination table for $35! It's in great condition. We have devised a way to swap the padded top with a solid wood top so that it is a very versatile piece of furniture. It had a towel roll on the end, which TheHubs(r) didn't like and removed :( but hey, I still have this marvelous piece of furniture for $35! It's hard to tell here but the table is just over 5' long and 2' wide and about 3-1/2' tall. Here it is with the solid surface - we literally found a length of good lumber and cut it in half and put it together lengthways.
My stepdaughter and a friend are going to be visiting next March, so this will be their storage/makeup/dressing table while they're here.

In other news, Downton Abbey 4 started on ITV Sunday, which was dead exciting.
Work on Her Minder continues apace. It is hard to describe how difficult it is to re-write and edit. Much harder than just writing. Which is why it is taking so long.
Finally, happy birthday to
crmediagal! I hope you have an awesome day full of great pumpkin-y goodness, because one can never have too much pumpkin in one's life!!

Well, TheHubs(r) bought some chocolate raspberry ice cream just for me today, and I believe I hear it calling my name. Hugs to all who needs 'em, and Happy Tuesday!
