I've just been made aware that today was Mr. Fred Rogers' birthday. He was so wonderful at making everyone feel liked and cared about. He always seemed as innocent as a child to me, and I think he personified the gentle man.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Rogers. The world sure could use a little more of your philosophy right now.
