Ooops.
I've received a very favourable reception to The Sempra Deck on Occlumency, and just received a review this morning which made me bang my head on my desk several times:
I'm enjoying where this is going so far - very original! I'm just wondering though if Mimi is not susceptible to any magic, how she is able to side along apparate?
Oh. Hmmm. Didn't think of that. Hmmmm. Well, you see, she is able to... Hmmmm. Well, let's pretend she can, and I'll go and dunk my head in a bucket. Hmmm.
Still blushing over that one. Ahh, well. You can't think of everything. Sometimes, you can't think of anything.

*goes off to wait until her blush recedes...*
Seriously, I didn't take it negatively, but I just laughed a lot. Yes Mimi probably wouldn't have gotten any relief from the Anti-nausea potion either, come to think on it...

You know, I didn't even THINK to wonder about those things either. A potion, though, is not magic, but herbal medicine, which I use myself all the time.

Don't be embarrassed over that. It just shows that you have gotten the attention of the reader so much that they are picking up on little details like that. If anything, you should be strutting yourself around saying, "I was just checking to make sure you were paying attention."

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Neither Muggles nor Wizards know everything about their world, and so there will always be anomalies.

That being said I agree with Mimi "Neither Muggles nor Wizards know everything about their world, and so there will always be anomalies." *nods* Not -everything- has to be explained or needs to be explained.

Yep, I'm going to stick to that as well. I honestly did try to cover all the bases, and that one just slipped by me. But hey, I've had such FUN with this story that I'm just going to smile and wave, boys, just smile and wave!

Please let me know where I can see your art - I would love to see it!
Thank you for making my day. Encouragement like yours inspires me to just try to be the best writer I can be. Bless you!

And of course I will share. Might be a little while, I am a bit slow and OCD when it comes to my art.
