Art Rec - Incredible, Even With The dA Watermark

Came across this drawing in perusing dA (yes, I stalk dA still) and came across this stunning piece of artwork. Irritating dA watermark on it, which is distracting, and it's a Severus/Lily, which is soooo not my favourite, but the look on the boy's face made my heart ache and awoke the latent, protective cougar in me.

It's called Prayer For A Kiss, by lilyhbp, and it's just stunning. Enjoy our favourite Potions master before; when there were still so many possibilities...

Oops! I didn't express myself well there... I meant features wise, not age wise - but that piece is very much how I envision him at that age.

I love Alan Rickman, and have for much longer than he's played Snape - and although he does a marvelous job in the movies, when I read HP, I envisioned Snape very much as she draws him.

Although, I must admit, I've always imagined him with Alan Rickman's voice... that voice is just liquid lust, isn't it?

I'm totally with you, sister. I've loved Alan Rickman since Robin Hood, and when I saw him in Rasputin, I nearly had a heart attack! I was tickled when I heard he would be Severus in the films, but yes, I know what you mean by how he looks. I remember in one of Aurette's fics called Side Effects, she says how Hermione remembered him as a delicate, angry man, and I so pictured that as well. However, I do love to wax a little sexy on him now and again.

Yes, Mr. Rickman's voice is one of the most incredible instruments I've ever heard. I cannot think of many men who can use it in such a seductive way. In the film Mesmer, I sat and listened to him purr his way through this rather dull film, simply because he just sounded like sex the entire film. Everything he said seemed designed to turn on his listeners! ;)
