Art Rec - Incredible, Even With The dA Watermark

Came across this drawing in perusing dA (yes, I stalk dA still) and came across this stunning piece of artwork. Irritating dA watermark on it, which is distracting, and it's a Severus/Lily, which is soooo not my favourite, but the look on the boy's face made my heart ache and awoke the latent, protective cougar in me.

It's called Prayer For A Kiss, by lilyhbp, and it's just stunning. Enjoy our favourite Potions master before; when there were still so many possibilities...

Ooooh! That is lovely!

How his head is turned up towards hers, his lips parted, eyes closed, wishing for a kiss. How he has his arm around his middle, as if trying to hold himself together because he knows she will break his heart again.

And then the look on her face is clinical, she is looking at him for his injuries, not in a loving way as he wished she was. But then her touches make him read more into them than he should.

The look...if she only knew what a lucky girl she was. But no she was a typical teenage girl, mostly into appearances.
