Aw, Sweetie! You made it to the final challenge! That's something to be proud of, especially in your first round! I hope you'll be doing this again, if there is another round. I know I will.

I'm sure I will. Several of the fics I did I was really, really proud of, and it did force me to think outside my own ship. I really liked my last two, so I know I gave it my best.

That's not to say I wasn't disappointed, but hey, I've got a lot of lovely projects coming up, so I won't have time to mope!

If you learned about yourself as a writer, well, you won anyways.

Very true - it seems I learn a little more with every word I type sometimes!

Congratulations! You have done so well in this challenge, and from Mimi's comment, I take it that you have made it to the final challenge! Go you!

Yeah, I didn't win, though, and I was a lot more disappointed than I should have been. I did really well though; 3 out of the 5 rounds I won, but not the one that counted in the end, unfortunately. I'm like that, though. I'm disappointed, because the competitive part of me really wanted to win, but it has spurred me on, and my exchange fic is zooming alot at a nice clip, and I've got two major projects coming up soon as well, so no time to sulk!

I know the feeling. The point of the game is to win, and it's hard when you don't. Especially when you put some much of yourself into it.

But you did a fantastic job and you should be extremely proud of yourself for how well you did. And you should be proud of yourself for even entering! I remember you were having some second thoughts about entering into the contest, and look how well you did! I am so proud of you!

Aw, thanks, Karen. I really appreciate your encouragement. It was fun, and I learned something with every fic I did for it. I was especially proud of the Severus fic and the Rowena Ravenclaw fic. I felt they were good work, and I was happy they won their rounds. You could tell the characters I really liked - they were the ones that won. My two Malfoy pics just didn't cut it!
