Proud of The Hubs

Who opened last night as Dr. Watson in one of our local semi-pro theatres Center Stage South Carolina's production of Sherlock Holmes. Although I wasn't there (Mum and I are going tonight), my former chef was there and by all accounts it was a hit. This has been one of those typical little theatre productions with more drama off stage than on . Only last week they sacked the original Sherlock (he had bragged on being an Equity actor and was so awful that they had to get rid of him - he couldn't remember his lines), but the guy they got to replace him was a miracle worker, and The Hubs is loving every minute of it. Oh, it is an awesome play - it flew by, and everything about it was so slick - lighting, sound, the steampunk set, the acting - I've seen West End shows in London that weren't this slick. I was so, soo, proud.
