SED - Day 31 - A Big Thank You
Well, I almost missed my last day - but I'm coming in under the wire. It's been great reading everyone's posts this month. Thank you so much for participating in SED - the May 2015 edition!
The play last night turned out to be really good. A Time To Kill, based on the Grisham novel - well-acted, very engaging and insightful. We really enjoyed it.
Today Mom took us out for lunch, and we started moving back into the SteamLib. It still doesn't have bookcases, but it's starting to come together. Putting up the industrial (read plumbing materials) curtain rod took a little more time and effort than expected but it looks good. I still don't have the curtains or the rugs I want, but they'll come later. We've had fun, but TheHubs™ really is ready for this to be over. I promise photos very, very soon.
Last night at the play, his Sherlock Holmes friend Evan asked him to be in a play he's directing in September. If all goes well, he will do that play in September, start rehearsals for Christmas Carol in October, and an Agatha Christie play in February. Right now, we are putting together ideas for a Podcast on Evan's Podcast network. We hope to start doing a practice run, including seque music, etc, tomorrow. It's going to be called Teddy and The Bassman. Of course I'll be sending you the links - I've been told we can discuss anything we want, including fandom, BDSM, religion, sex, music, whatever. I'm looking forward to it.
May has been a long month, for some reason. A very full, sometimes stressful month, with new systems to be learned at work. This week, we are going to be traveling to 13 different Walmarts. This new system was supposed to cut down on drive time - it's not exactly working out that way.
I am going to make the effort to post often, possibly not every day, but more often, and try to comment more. I counted it a good thing when I missed posting because there were so many posts to comment on.
Thank you for everyone who took up the call for SED. Believe it or not, it's just lovely seeing you here, even if it was just to write about one little thing that happened in your day. You are all pretty special to me, you know?
