...as if I didn't need reminding, I found the perfect dress in my favourite online clothing store. They didn't have it in their eBay store, where I usually go, but in their own website. Tell me this won't be perfect with my gorgeous new Cloak what droxy made.



I have to send the other dress back (the light green one I told you about), but it will be worth it to wear this lovely silvery dress with my cloak to the ball. I have never really felt beautiful all that many times in my life, but I think this will be one of them.

It never occured to me to look on their separate website for anything - I just assumed whatever was there would be on eBay. Turns out they had loads of stuff that isn't on their eBay presence. I was over the moon when I found this in my size. It runs a little large, but these are comfy clothes, and I want more than anything to be comfortable.

I will. The cloak is breathtaking in person. I put it on and it just engulfed me perfectly. It's exactly the right size and length and Droxy did a magical job on it. She even made matching gloves, which fit like a dream. I feel so pretty in it.

The dress is from the Holy Clothing company. I've been buying from them for over 10 years, and I love their stuff. It's really pretty clothes for bigger women.

That is gorgeous. Oh, and in a small bit of fate, the gloves arrived today, just in time for my birthday. I love them, they fit wonderfully. Two of my aunts and my Mom saw them and really liked them, one of the aunts was going to see about getting one of her friends to make her some. Thank you!

Happy Birthday! I'm so glad they fit. Tell your aunt they are really easy to make. If I had time, I'd whip up a pair for her. I have a Hufflepuff and a Slytherin pair to make this month, but I'm going to make some more for next winter later in the year.

Oh man, that gown looks exactly like my wedding dress which I also got from an ebay seller. If your seller was also a Wiccan it's possible it is the very same dress but in blue.

This is from the Holy Clothing company. I've been buying clothes from them for almost 10 years now. They really feel lovely, don't they? I had my eye on this dress, but the eBay store didn't have it in my size. I went on to their actual website and there it was. The problem is that I've already ordered another dress, which I'm just going to pack up and send back to them for a refund. This is the one I wanted.

I have a similar one in midnight blue I bought from them almost 10 years ago, and it still looks just as fresh and crisp now as it did then.

I have a question about Holy Clothing. I'm ready to make my order and am curious about sizing. Do they tend to run large or small regarding US sizing?

It's been my experience that they tend to run a little large (in the larger sizes. I don't know about regular sizes). I bought what I thought was my size and it was a little large. I will say, though, that they last beautifully. I have a deep midnight blue dress I bought almost 10 years ago and it still looks fab.

A little large I can handle, too tight sucks. Even when I get down to my preferred weight I don't like form fitted clothes, loose flowing skirts have always been most comfortable.
