Yes, YES! I am SO glad that you're going to see a lawyer! What a piece of crap he's being; you're paying his fucking bills??!! Definitely tell the lawyer all this. Itemize them if you are able, or at least get a ballpark figure. As others have said, this can be used as leverage if he tries to get half the house. When my parents divorced, my mom made sure she got a good divorce attorney and well... did a little sleight of hand so that my dad wouldn't try to get half the house.
