SED - Day 06 - Facebook Douchebaggery and those old DIY Blues

Well, Facebook decided that Teddy was just fine, only to throw me out again this afternoon. I'm giving them one more chance, then I'm going to tell them to fuck off.

We got the floor in the SteamLib down today - it took us all damn day (with little breaks in between, we're not that industrious) but it looks good. Some places that aren't too clever if  you squint, but those are in the corners and around some of the door frames. We will put down bead board next week when we get paid.

Here is the progress so far:



I started painting the hallway today, but had to abandon it to help TheHubs™ with the floor. I ended up being little more than a cheerleader, but he seemed to need my help, so there I sat. I'm too tired to finish the hallway. We'll work on it tomorrow when we're both fresh. I have about 80 pounds of sawdust up my nose - the house is covered in it.

I have some other stuff to talk about, but to be honest, babes, I'm cream-crackered. Tomorrow promises not to be such a butt-kicker of a day. I hope everyone's having a great day! Hugs to you all!

Looking good. Wish I had any desire to spruce up my place, but I don't. I think I gave up when my second kid was born and just haven't found the urge since. Having rice and chocolate milk constantly dumped onto my brown carpet certainly hindered any desire to replace the carpet, and even now, there is still the odd clumsy spill on hte carpet and occassional splatter on my walls and kids who won't stop putting their grimy mits on my formerly clean walls that now need to be repainted again.
